Jacks Footprints

Everyday after dropping off my kids at school, I drive to work by taking Champlain Bridge. I would see this lady walking on the side of the bridge, presumably on her way to work. Rain or shine, I can rely on seeing her at least once a week. Over the years, I feel like I learn to know her even though we're complete strangers.

We just had 50cm of snow in one day and the sidewalks are not passable in many places. I didn't expect to see her but sure enough there she was this morning, walking on the road! I felt like giving her a thumbs-up but I didn't. We're strangers after all.
